The full launch comes with the 2026/27 season, but you can already use it: download the app or sign in on the web. We're looking for dojos, associations and practitioners to give it a proper workout and tell us what's missing: start the season with a cracking tool.
A stamp is only as good as the hand that gives it
Only the organisation that issued a grade can ratify it. If your federation, your association or your teacher's school isn't on Budopass yet, that grade stays declared — or your dojo, having seen the diploma, validates it. That's honest, but it isn't the same thing.
You declare it, and say who gave it to you
The grade goes into your budopass stating who issued it, when, and with which examiner. And it's clearly marked as declared.

The whole path, not just today's belt
A lifetime of training, well told: grades, qualifications, stamps, attendance, seminars — and where each one comes from.
Grades and belts
Every kyu and every dan has its own token: white for kyu, black for dan, with the belt knotted underneath. Dated, with the teacher's name. Branch grades — Bukiwaza for Aikido, Ki for Ki Aikido, Den for Jujutsu — show a diamond instead of the belt.
Teachers' stamps
A teacher's stamp is a traceable attestation: it goes with the grades the dojo issues or ratifies, and with qualifications.
Attendance by QR
The dojo has a single QR, hung in the hall or shown on the teacher's screen: you scan it and your attendance is in the register. The teacher checks it rather than typing it in again.
More dojos, more arts
Aikido here, judo or karate there: each affiliation has its own grades and its own exams, all brought together in “My budopass”. And a single dojo can have up to six disciplines, with each teacher stamping their own arts.

One side stamps, the other verifies
Attendance isn't entered twice: practitioners stamp in with the dojo's QR, and whoever runs the dojo verifies it in the register. There is only one QR and it never changes: printed and hung in the hall, or shown on the teacher's screen — it works just the same.
“Stamp and you're in”
With the app you tap “Check-in” and scan the QR: you're recognised straight away, nothing to type. Without the app you scan it with the camera: the dojo's page opens and you type your member code — six characters, you'll find it on your home screen.
“Who's missing?”
They open the register already filled with check-ins: it reads 10 of 14, names who's missing and shows where each attendance comes from: “Check-in” or “By hand”.

- When
- Check-in is open from 20 minutes before the lesson starts until 20 minutes after it ends.
- Who
- Anyone enrolled in the course of that lesson can stamp in. If two lessons are open, you choose which.
- By mistake
- While check-in is open, you can remove an attendance entered by mistake yourself.
- In the register
- Every check-in goes in immediately, marked “Check-in”. Anyone who hasn't stamped in is marked by the teacher, and shows as “By hand”.

Your budopass is yours
It goes with you
Change dojo, change city: your budopass follows you and stays yours.
You keep your data
We only ask for what the budopass needs. You update your name, phone, photo and medical certificate yourself, from “Your details”: the dojo can see them but can't change them. And you can delete your account yourself, with your password.

What's declared says so, what's ratified proves it. Trust is shown, not claimed.
